PARMA Recordings presents a classical recording opportunity for solo piano and solo organ works. Projects will receive production from PARMA’s award winning audio team, and will be recorded by organist Karel Martínek or pianist Charlene Farrugia, respectively.
Recording with solo organ and solo piano.
Option for multi-camera performance capture and/or documentary video production available.
Option for performance possible, if selected and approved by the performer.
Featured organ soloist Karel Martínek
Artistic director of the International Organ Festival in Olomouc, organist, and choirmaster at St. Wenceslas cathedral in Olomouc, Karel Martìnek has won several interpretation and improvisation competitions during his career.
Martìnek regularly performs literature from all epochs and styles, while giving considerable attention to improvisation. His discography includes several recordings including documentary films and music. As a composer, Martìnek’s catalog includes organ, piano, choir, and orchestra music, receiving several awards at different competitions.

Featured piano soloist Charlene Farrugia
Praised by musicians, audiences, and music critics as an “enfant terrible of Maltese piano,” Charlene Farrugia is one of the most prominent performers of the younger generation.
With multiple awards to her name, Farrugia has performed numerous for Heads of State including Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester; a piano recital at Château St. Anne in Brussels; The Story Of London series organized by the Mayor of London Boris Johnson, and many others.Farrugia has also been listed as one of the world’s great women pianists and is also an EMMA for peace artist.

Guidelines
Please note before submitting: This opportunity requires funding/budget to be secured by or on behalf of the artists of approved pieces. Artists will retain full ownership of their resulting masters and maintain full control of the artistic direction of the project. Costs are determined based on approved pieces of music as assessed by our A&R and Production Departments as well as the ensembles and performers involved. PARMA’s team is available to assist with planning, approvals, and outward-facing documentation to assist toward the generation of project funding for approved pieces.
