Kühn Choir of Prague

Renowned for their exceptional artistry and dynamic performances, the Kühn Choir of Prague has captivated audiences around the world. With a rich history dating back to 1959, the choir is known for its versatile repertoire, ranging from early music to contemporary compositions. They have performed with leading orchestras and have been featured in numerous prestigious festivals and recording projects. Their commitment to excellence and innovation makes them an ideal partner for bringing new choral works to life.

What We’re Looking For

Composers are invited to submit original sacred choral works, whether a cappella or accompanied, that resonate with the unique strengths and artistic vision of the Kühn Choir of Prague. We welcome compositions showcasing a wide range of styles and approaches.

Why Participate?

This is your chance to collaborate with an ensemble renowned for its artistic excellence and innovative programming. Selected compositions will be recorded by the Kühn Choir and released on a dedicated album with extensive promotional support. Your work will gain international exposure through the album release and associated promotional activities, connecting you with a wider audience of choral music enthusiasts and professionals.

Please note before submitting:

This opportunity requires funding to be secured by or on behalf of the composer to cover production and post-production expenses. Submitting a score indicates interest but does not commit the composer or PARMA to any contractual obligations. Once a score is submitted, our A&R team will review and reach out to discuss possibilities and costs for recording and release. If all parties approve, an official proposal will be provided, which the composer is free to accept or decline.

Composers will retain full ownership of their underlying music and any resulting masters and will maintain full artistic control of the project. PARMA’s team is available to help with planning and preparing outward-facing documentation to assist toward the generation of project funding for approved pieces.
