Quality audio production may be one of the preferred ways to consume music in the modern day, but nothing beats the thrill of a high-octane live performance. We’ve had the pleasure of presenting the works of many PARMA artists on stage over the years, and each show has been nothing short of spectacular. From all of the concerts we’ve seen at Carnegie Hall, one thing is certain: we love to see music created in real time.

Located in the quick-beating heart of New York City, Carnegie Hall is widely regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious live music venues, and has become a go-to venue for Trio Casals to present their show stopping programs of contemporary classical music.
Programed as part of a past Featured Recording Opportunity, the critically acclaimed ensemble (Ovidiu Marinescu, cello; Alexandr Kislitsyn, violin; Anna Kislitsyna, piano) made their most recent appearance in Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall on May 5, 2023 with MOTO FINALE, a Navona Records release inspired by nature, loss, spiritual connection, and music of the past.
Presenting the works of seven composers in a diverse showcase of modern composition and performance, the repertoire mingled trauma and chaos with tranquility, nostalgia, melancholy, and hope, a musical journey of interweaving experiences that was met with multiple standing ovations.
Missed the show and still want to catch Trio Casals live? Don’t fret. The celebrated ensemble will make their return to the Weill Recital Hall stage on November 10, 2023 with A GRAND JOURNEY 2, a full program of new chamber music featuring the works of several contemporary composers.
Stay tuned for upcoming performance announcements on the PARMA Live Stage. In the meantime, dive into Trio Casals’ catalog of recorded works on Navona Records:
