PARMA is pleased to present a new recording opportunity with the acclaimed Juventas New Music Ensemble, culminating in a concert on the ensemble’s main season schedule.
This collaboration invites composers to have their works performed by a chamber ensemble of exceptional standing and capability, leading to a professional recording and live performance as part of Juventas’ 2025–2026 concert season.
“This project brings Juventas’s 11-year partnership with PARMA to new heights. We are deploying our world class musicians with PARMA’s GRAMMY®-winning production team on a full-length album that will spotlight some of today’s brightest voices.”
– Oliver Caplan, Juventas New Music Ensemble Artist Director
Juventas New Music Ensemble is a dynamic contemporary chamber group with a special focus on emerging voices.
The ensemble reimagines classical music as a vibrant living art form, uplifting rising voices and bringing audiences music from a diverse array of composers that live in today’s world and respond to our time.
Since its founding in 2005, the ensemble has performed the music of over 300 living composers. Juventas musicians champion these artists with exceptional professional performances — some of which can be heard on commercial album releases from PARMA/Navona Records.
VOICES OF THE LAND
Christina Rusnak, Juventas New Music Ensemble
VOICES OF THE LAND from composer Christina Rusnak guides listeners on a journey through America, celebrating its landscape and its people. Featuring the Juventas New Music Ensemble, the pieces on this album explore the emotions and experiences of settlers, miners, and indigenous people as they navigated the challenges, triumphs, and indignities of early American history.
“Juventas is an ensemble to watch.”
Juventas Live in Concert
Juventas celebrated 20 years in music this season, spending ample time in the studio and on the concert stage. The ensemble recently gave a performance of works they commissioned live at Cambridge MA’s Multicultural Arts Center, available to stream now in this video.
