The Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava is entering their 70th year in music this season, and to celebrate, we’re launching a new Featured Recording Opportunity with them to amplify our common goal — to showcase and uplift the music of today’s top emerging artists.
An award-winning, world-class symphony orchestra based in Ostrava, Czech Republic, the JFO is an unmistakable figure on the international recording and performance scenes. With over 100 top-level musicians, the orchestra aims to bring unique, quality repertoire into the fold with their signature sound and artistic panache.
We’re delighted to not only present a formidable selection of cutting-edge classical music from today’s brightest composers, but to once again work with the JFO, with whom we’ve released several successful projects over the years. Read on for a tour of albums from Navona Records that showcase what this celebrated ensemble is capable of.
