Leveraging her passion and irreplicable touch on the piano, Marta Brankovich conjures an unforgettable storm on MARTA, THE TEMPEST. Weaving themes of adversity, opposing forces, and oneness with a profoundly emotive approach, the black swan of piano delivers a powerful program in this Navona Records release.

Performed by the uniquely arranged ARK Trio, the pieces presented on ARK RESOUNDING are an eclectic mix of American history, Bachian and Schubertian influences, and timeless poetry, all united by one common denominator: the bittersweet trials and tribulations of love.

Armenian pianist Kariné Poghosyan dazzles with a riveting selection of piano music based on folk motifs of five different cultures on FOLK THEMES. Poghosyan conveys an inherent tenderness, fire, and zest for life throughout, both in the profundity of fragile sentiment and in fireworks of exuberant virtuosity.

Immaculately performed by pianist Steven Beck, the profoundly cerebral works on ARTIFACTS from composer Jeffery Hall mesmerize with a sober exploration of contemporary compositional techniques and the expressive potential of the piano.
