Named a National Historic Landmark in 1994, Chicago’s Symphony Center has heard a lineage of great music echoed between its ivory walls, the same walls in which Author Dan Brown recently unleashed his Wild Symphony with the United States Army Field Band and Soldiers Chorus.
On November 15, the New York Times best-selling author teamed up with the GRAMMY award-winning ensemble to bring Wild Symphony to the Windy City. With conductor Col. Jim R. Keene at the podium and live narration by Brown himself, the ensemble performed for an enthusiastic audience.

The program also featured a number of patriotic tunes and well-known favorites, including The Stars and Stripes Forever, which was conducted by Brown to close out the evening.

Brown’s Wild Symphony has traveled far and wide since it was unleashed in 2020, sprouting up in the United States and abroad to critical and audience acclaim. Following its world premiere performance in Croatia by the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, the multi-faceted production has received performances from the Houston Symphony, Bamberg Symphony, Armenian State Symphony, and many others.
With more performances from the Iceland Symphony and the Buffalo Philharmonic on the horizon and a major motion picture deal in the works, Wild Symphony is full steam ahead and here to stay.
