Using what he calls “listening as performance” on his album DEVIANT RESONANCES, composer David Rosenboom uses listeners to create an ethereal musical experience by using their brainwaves as instruments.

MUSIC WITH SILENT AITAKE’S is not merely composer Frédéric D’Haene’s PARMA Recordings debut. It also serves as an introduction to his entirely individual composition technique, “paradoxophony,” which is the combination of two or more musical worlds in which none takes control over any of the others. The result is a piece that achieves a unique coexistence between Western and traditional Japanese music.

Pianist Yoko Hirota makes her PARMA Recordings debut with SCHOENBERG PIANO MUSIC AND HIS 17 FRAGMENTS, featuring pieces composed by Arnold Schoenberg between 1909 and 1923. Included in this captivating collection are his Drei Klavierstückes op.11, Five Pieces for Piano, Klavierstücke 23, and the 17 fragments left by the composer.
