Kenta Masuda
Kenta Masuda was born in Japan 1990. He is studying at Osaka Kyoiku University now. He was nominated finalist at the 15th and 17th Tokyo International Competition for Chamber Music Composition and the 3rd and 4th Tokyo International Competition for Art Song Composition. He has been awarded some prizes, including the prize in TIAA Composers Competition in Japan 2012, an honorable mention in Tokyo Katsushika Competition in Japan 2013, the "Ryousuke Hatanaka prize" in the 20th Sougakudou Japanese Song Competition in Japan 2013 and Junior 3rd Prize in the 4th International Antonín Dvořák Composition Competition in the Czech Republic 2013.
He held his own composition recital by self produce in Japan 2014. His composition was selected and performed at XXXVI Foro Internacional de Música Nueva "Manuel Enríquez" in Mexico 2014. He studied composition with Ichiro Mononobe, Fumio Kitagawa and Toshiro Saruya. He is a member of the avant-garde unit "ROT" and of the Young Composers' Association "Shining" in Japan.
